Haida Gwaii

Our primary location is on Haida Gwaii in the Haida Village of G̱aw Tlágee—Old Massett on the Northern end of Graham Island. Going through the door to Yaahl G̱aadaas Née—April’s White Raven House, one either descends the stairs to our guest rooms on the ground floor with the immediacy of the ocean and all it’s moods… or ahead to Wind Spirit Hall—the gallery on the main floor—where it sweeps open to expansive walls filled with art acting as counter to the stunning view of Massett Inlet.

As Haida, we are living and working on our homeland—the village of G̱aw Tlágee is apart of the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Haida Nation and we are the traditional keepers of our islands.

Sunshine Coast

Our home away from home is in Westview, Powell River on the Sunshine Coast. Near Willingdon Beach—or as I prefer, Ah joo miex as it was originally known by the local Indigenous peoples—Tla’amin Nation. This 1920’s building has housed an art gallery for over 50 years and Wind Spirit for over 30 of those years.
